I just got an Ash, and I intend to try him out solo for some stealth gameplay. What's a great sword to use in conjunction with his Smoke Screen?

Regular attacks aren't buffed as much as charged attacks, I'd go with OrthosP or Galatine

regular hits become yellow and crits become red, but the different colors just means you are getting a damage bonus (I think +50% for normal attacks and +100% charged attacks) not that you are doing double crits or stuff like that.

Dual Ichor are actually pretty good. Mine can hit over 1.k with a normal slice. Let yourself have fun and go Dual Ichor.

0-50 Dual Zoren Charge Build

50-90 DHS or Furax Charge Build

90+ Galatine or FangPrime Charge Build (slow guaranteed 1 shot vs fast but might take 2)

 

So you can always 1 shot lessers and 2 shot heavies, without wasting time on long charge times like the Gala when you dont need it.
