Cover System & Sneak Attacks?

Please try to read all the threads listed as support as well as mine before commenting. If you don't I feel as though you wont realize that there is quite a bit of a calling for these features to be implemented. Thank you.

So while playing Warframe I cant help but notice how all the enemies can take cover and I cannot. This is not a game breaking issue but it is a bit annoying. I think that adding a cover system, with ways to hurdle and move efficiently, would definitley add to gameplay and add for some real stealthy/ninja feeling moments.

I don't always agree with a "snap" cover system, but this game is one of the few where I feel it would not take away from the ninja feeling. Rather I think it would add to it. (This is a point I would like a LOT of feedback on as an admin has already commented they don't like snapping.)

At the very least there should be a 'leaning' mechanic to make firing around corners much more effictive and enable a whole new avenue for co-op strategies.

*I don't know how the stealth system is going to work so for now this is just a looking ahead type of post really.

I also noticed Warframes supposidly "Built" for stealth. I haven't had the chance to purchase those Warframes but I have had a chance to try my hand at being "Stealthy".

As of now the game doesn't seem to allow stealth to be possible unless you are absolutley perfect in-terms of dealing 1-hit blows. There are no way to distract enemies, bypass them, throw them out the ship or down a shaft. There are no silencers, knives to slit throats with or to throw, and the list can go on and on and on.

At the very least I think we should see a "Stealth Kill" mechanic with Warframes that are meant for stealth. Otherwise they are absolutley no different than the other Heavy Assault or Magic archetype Warframes, other than having a different set of skills.

Now I don't have a problem that you can play just like an Assault type even if you have a frame like Ash, I'm bothered that you can't play like a sneaky ninja which is pretty much what Ash's description is. Again I have not played with Ash, but with the current game mechanics I do not see how staying stealth for an entire mission is even possible. There isn't a way the enemies wouldn't be alerted of your presence and the whole level turning into a giant shoot-out.

Conclusion:

I realize these are large mechanics to put in place, but this is the point of this forum section.

By no means are these features that would stop making play Warframe if they were not implemented, these are simply things that I think if used would take this game to the next level.

As a small request, I ask that the devs allow more editing options for making forums posts. Right now it's very hard to make an engaging and good looking post that isn't an eyesore to read, much less organize it well.
