Forma Weapons Removed ?

sorry this migth be stupid but my warframe clearly has a greyed out forma next to the orokin catalyst but none of my weapons do ?

 

am i missing something ?

 

i went trough the patch notes a few times but did not see anything ?

I think you have to get the weapon to max level before u see the forma slot.

Your weapon needs to be level 30 in order to be forma'd.

And be adviced that using a Forma will reset it's rank.

That was only true in DAoC for a limited subset of all weapons and armor. Everything else until that certain subset was entirely disposable with no need to waste time, energy and resources upgrading them. This game, however, REQUIRES you spend all kinds of time getting multiple sets of weapons and frames up because no one set is going to be "it" for all situations.

Just think of Raid-running the same as us leveling gear, and it equals to about the same time wasted played.
