(PSN)camwyn-xenos Posted May 9, 2020 Share Posted May 9, 2020 Heres a completely fun thought hard modes drops only a form of sliver tradeable with a vendor who sells every drop item in the game, mods, ephemera, etc. Therefore allowing players to get all game items, while removing RNG bad luck. Several others and I have suggested similar ideas around here in the past, to help meet the requests for interactivity and challenge that goes around these forums. Such a mode option will let hose who like the press 4 to win power fantasy, keep their fantasy via defaulting to the regular mission, and those who want more challenge go for the higher difficulties. (PSN)camwyn-xenos Posted May 9, 2020 Share Posted May 9, 2020 Hard mode and higher levels should not be a forced full play through of the game, that is just more grind, the mode should be optional for every node after a completed star chart and quest lines. Starting at a level 100 top sortie level and ultra hard at level 150 or 200. Maybe you just need a hard mode that adds 100 to current star chart values. Reason being normality of mission types a capture would still feel the same and be a similar duration, but less of a one hit kill. It also means not every mission would be a endless affair, which is the only way for a challenge at present. Rewards don't need to be the normal rewards as this risk high level players avoiding normal mode, we don't want an elite only section of players, but hard should be earned to enter. I welcome hard mode and it would be nice not to have to play for 90 mins before getting to tougher enemies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
