Is there a way to unequip a focus lense from a frame or a weapon?

If not, couldn't a thingy be introduced as a rare reward for some event that would allow us to uninstall a focus lense (or an umbra forma, since they're rare as s**t, and if you install it then regret your choice, you're up s**t creek without a paddle).

No way to retrieve len on a weapon, you can replace it though

Unfortunately, they are a one time use. You can buy the blueprints with credits to craft lens off the Market though, and you can farm things like Breath of the Eidolons via Cetus bounties pretty steadily, if you don't want to pay plat for them directly.

 

It would be nice if you could just use a LENS period and have it be able to gain focus, and then spend it into whatever active school. The Focus pool is already universal, so why require replacing lenses on EVERY flipping Warframe?

Amen, they brought out lua lens just after I equipped two eidon ones, one on  a vanilla Khom.
