Energy color

I think I am not wrong when saying that energy color changes nothing. At first I thought it would change the color of animation when using an energy skill like Edxcalibur's dash. Then I checked the little blue lights on the right hand of Excalibur and lastly it doesn't change color of the weapon fire either.

It does change something. While choosing a color, look at those small dots on Excalibur. Those small ones left and right on the chest. It is hard to see them. But it's too small to make a big difference so I call any Warframe Staff to give further explanation.
