Nightwave; pay to skip

You all know this problem. There is again this nightwave challenge which you really hate. (play x railjack missions| Do a capture mission in less than x seconds| get x rare mods) But you have to do it otherwise you will fall behind with the rewards or even won't get them.

So here is my idea. Pay to skip. I think 1$ per 1000 nightwave points are fair enough.

On this way can everyone enjoy nightwave without wasting time on missions he/ she don't like. And think about all the money which can DE earn

For the one who didn't realise it. It's sarcasm. So please give me all the nightwave memes you can find.

I'd like to see the option of paying Kuva or NW credits to reroll a challenge.

yes I know this is sarcasm but if I don't post it I'll forget

I would pay plat to reroll Nightwash. No sarcasm.

But not more than 5p per challenge.

But you have to do nowhere near all the available challenges. It probably wont even make a lot of difference either in terms of how soon you get to the last reward compared to someone who does all weeklies. Just take it slowly, it will work out. Remember last intermission went on for over 6 months.

I'm not worried about the rewards. I want to enjoy engaging with the current content, not log out because it's another week of minigames and orbs.

You don't actually have to do it, you want to do it. Even if you fall behind some tenno, you'll get all your rewards eventually.

I don't understand this mentality of doing it, even if i hate it, to get the loot faste. Just take your time lad.

Considering Nightwave is the best version of the battle pass system out of every game that has it. No.

But how someone else progresses through Nightwave doesn't effect your progression, why would it matter if they could do this?

Don’t defend bad monetization like it’s the right thing to do.

I'm not, and you didn't answer the question.

At least read my comments in the thread, I don't support charging money nor even the original concept.

Don't worry I come from a much better place.

We are famous for our games.

They just need to make all the chores as easy and quick to complete as possible. Log in/log out. Play 1 mission, etc

Play one mission to make all nightwave challenges at once. Not from one week, but from all.

But I want the points now and that without any effort. Just let me pay. Good for me and for DE. Or do you expect that I play the game?

Theoretical it could make a change for others. Per week are 43.5k nightwave points possible. Even if 1000 nightwave points cost just 1$ someone has to spend about 175$ per month. I'm sure that DE could do something good with this money.

But how does someone paying to skip challenges effect how you play through Nightwave?

I'd rather have an opt out feature for rewards that allowed me to get nightwave creds instead of certain things, just a simple click on reward choose cred value instead. I frankly do not need slots for frames, or weapons , or potatoes, or more rivens, just give me creds instead, so I can get more decor if available, or even kuva, or extra mods to give away. There are a bunch of things I want to do with umbra forma, but the rate of acquisition is so slow, it's not worth the time to even start until there is a better way to obtain them. As much as I hate to say this, I wish they would sell Umbra forma.

if players pay to skip, then like most devs they will make it more grindy to make more people want to skip

Ayy, someone bothered to try answering.

Ah, right.  I see you're trying to make up for the low toxicity for today.  Cute attempt.

Offering players a chance to pay to skip content is hilarious, imagine an ugly escort asking for more money to put a bag over their head. see “railjack instant access pack”). Monetization of night wave would change the value of its rewards for everyone. If you can’t grit your teeth and barrel through the trash to get your goal then maybe it’s time to play another game instead of devaluing people who enjoy the journey by suggesting pay-to-skip.
