The Suicidal Sentinel

I was playing as Mag Prime during a run on Xini. I used Bullet Attractor to single out a Toxic Ancient that was coming. Now I had max Stretch mod and the Bullet Attractor was maxed as well so it was a pretty big bubble. The Toxic Ancient rushed me so I eventually got inside the bubble. My sentinel started getting electrified, burned, and frozen at the same time until it eventually exploded.

 

Moral of the story: Sentinels will commit suicide when they're inside the Bullet Attractor bubble.

 

I assume that the sentinel's bullets get directed toward themselves when they're inside the Bullet Attractor since all the elemental effects were occurring.

that's interesting. Tenno who shoot inside Bullet Attractor , just find their bullets to be sucked into the target of it. i'm surprised pets end up killing themselves.

The same happens when a sentinel is inside Nyx's absorb bubble.

Went for a quick run on Tethys to see if Ruk's Bullet Attractor does the same thing. Sure enough, it doesn't, The Sentinel's bullets will still redirect towards you and the sentinel won't kill itself.

This is probably due to its weapon fire coming around and hitting itself. I've been able to damage myself with my own weapon fire while standing inside Nyx's Absorb and Bullet Attractor spheres.
