No, PokeSafari is a PokeRadar free zone.

As far as I'm aware though, the Shiny rate for the Safari is anecdotally around 1/200.

It should be about that. I see a lot of people trying to find shinies there, and a guy I added today, found a shinny on his first encounter of my Pokémon.

added you as well, I'll check it out if I have time. I'm breeding some wooper and subsequently some protean froakies with mud sport for doubles. in case of mega manectric. it's either mud sport or u-turn, and I'll use him mainly as a salamence counter and powerful special attacker, so probably hydro pump (maybe surf), ice beam, dark pulse, mud sport. also helpful against rotom wash. again, this is the season 2 special rating battles, so kalos dex-only doubles

 

since we're on the subject, were those damage calcs for a modest protean greninja, or timid? can't decide which nature would be best

Stupidly, around D/P, I thought Shinies had better stats. I heard that somewhere and believed it with my own heart, until recently, when I first started shiny hunting in any Pokémon game I have ever played, and looked up some guides which told me the sad truth.

Now shinies don't matter to me. They're mostly ugly, except some. Take Charizard, for example, but his mega evolutions turn ugly again. And like I said previously, Greninja also looks awesomely sick.
