Is your wonderful DE so almighty that they go against their own ideals? Do we have to pay for their mistakes? Or are you so blinded that you can’t see the current situation after a lot of people explained it to you?

They can change their minds. I have changed my mind on serveral things throughout time.

And remember, this is a game. Treat it like one. Don't get upset over a small thing, it's not healthy for you.

If you’re going to quote me do it with the full sentence and stop cherry picking what I said (again)

Although the more you ignore what’s in front of you the more blinded you look.

The first issue: The Xoris’ infinite Melee Combo Duration directly amplifies the Damage output of certain Warframe Abilities

Uh, yes it does. According to the very first post.

So don't use the Xoris as a stat stick. It's still an amazing weapon.

Amazing how? It's a mediocre Glaive. There's a lot more better weapons that exist. I wasn't even using this weapon as a stat stick. I just wanted a weapon that doesn't run out of combo after switch out my exalted weapon. Guess what? Now not even Atlas or Khora can use it anymore. Even when I did use it on Atlas, the GRAM PRIME was better as a stat stick. Now the weapon is more inconvenient than practical.

Would you use this weapon? When the Glaive Prime exist? Or any Prime weapons exist. At best you won't delete it from your inventory.

It had one gimmick. And now that's gone. So is the usage of the weapon. You use it for the quest and probably trash it.

I actually used it yesterday to take down my level 5 lich.

Looks like I might have to make that video sooner than later.

Some people here are so clueless and ignorant of how stat sticks work. If you dont understand why people are mad at xoris nerf, dont speak.

Educate yourself first how they work. Read the smart posts in here. Dont just blindly stick to DEs side. Do they pay you? Do they put food on your dinner table?

Dont be a sheep. Learn to think for yourself. Think why is xoris nerf bad? Its called critical thinking. If you are dumb, then listen to the smart people and get smarter / more knowledgeable.

yea! Wake up, SHEEPLE!

I was testing this my self and on some of the warframes it did do really high damage I but don’t believe we should get rid of this. I believe that the exalted weapon should keep that damage From the xoris but only for a time. Like when you activate you exalted weapon it should start a combo duration so it could be used to clear enemy’s then you’ll have to use the xoris again to build the combo back up to use that damage again that way the xoris still holds the purpose of holding on to that damage and using it when you want to. I believe that’s a better way of changing the weapon and how it effects exalted weapons.

to be fair she was like his first rework so he was coming from a pretty narrow field of experience back then. also i'm not sure about her rework getting praised for being good more so than being ridiculous since she came out stronger initially than she was even now and everyone had a riot about that.

Except anyone that actually knew how to use her before Pablo messed with her understood that what Pablo did was effectively a nerf.  Then they did a few more little nerfs and she's in the state she's in now, which is still strong, but not like she was for people that understood.

Are you going to nerf Naramon School too ? Because actually there is some sort of synergy with Some Weapons in the Game. 😉

I'm a bit scared of DE coming at night and nerfing a part of my body right now. Please, if you do so, I would like you to keep the thing that let me interact with the other gender safe.

Thank you DE. XOXO

Are rivens going to get nerfed as well now, because they offer an even more powerful interaction with the exalted abilities? Of course not, what am I saying, how can DE possibly nerf their main cash cow.

Will the xoris get unnerfed, after countless users, in this very thread, and other platforms, have debunked DE's claims that it's OP? Of course not, DE will almost never admit it made a mistake and revert this completely unnecessary change, that is, if they actually read their threads after posting them, or even play their game, which sounds absurd after years of completely baffling changes and nerfs.

Maybe if half of this game's community could stop praising DE for every nerf, and instead notice that those insane interactions with the exalted weapons have been a thing for a long time, and people only started using the Xoris because it's CONVENIENT not having to stop the gameplay flow and hit an enemy to prolong the combo. Maybe if half of this community would stop crying about every interesting interaction being OP, just because someone else had a bigger damage percentage at the end of the round, and let others have their fun, DE would stop nerfing everything to the ground, making this game less fun with each and every patch.

Also,  you don't make a change in a mechanic based on it's popularity, DE, that's just incredibly stupid.

Seriously guys just ignore DE and their illogical decisions and jump ship towards the stropha. You build combo faster you can maintain it easy and its a super good statstick.

Frankly now that i think of it - it is actually better than the xoris. Why as the Xoris nerfed again? Dont care doesnt matter.

@all Let de have their win and think that everything is great. The Xoris balance is nothing more than another knee jerk nerf resulting from poor testing and balance. Balance which is quite frankly so far gone and dead that it doesnt matter anyway.

So ya,
Cheers.

What was good in Xoris?

Ability amplification only.

So this change just makes it WORSE than any other weapon for the only job it was good at.

This means that Xoris has no use outside the quest(where we have NO CHOICE but to use it).

Agreed. We can't force something to improve if what we're trying improve refuses to improve. Why do they refuse? Because Warframe white knights exist. There is a flaw, recognise that there is so that maybe DE will bother fixing it. I mean c'mon DE refuses to change even when their community is already shouting at them. It took a crazy amount of outrage just to make a change. Having this Warframe simps just puts fuel on the fire. Your not going to suddenly make us think that everything is fine and that the changes make sense. You just delay the inevitable. And the longer you wait the angrier people get. The bigger the problem becomes.

On the other hand. Warframe had half their player base quit and DE still refuses to change. So does it even matter if we criticize them? They've shown that they clearly stopped caring. Why do we bother seeking improvements? DE isn't going to improve anytime soon and this Simps will just continue to praise them until Warframe inevitably dies.

If you were making the argument that DE should think these things through before releasing them, err on the side of caution, and possibly roll out later buffs, instead of the current system of releasing things in an OP state they didn't even intend and then having to nerf them later, you'd have a point. I mean, you're absolutely right that this is an ongoing problem that pisses players off, and DE should be learning from the experience. It's been a pattern as long as I've been playing Warframe, and it's tiresome. When something is obviously broken, I've got used to knowing what I'm getting into and knowing that I'm dumping forma into a weapon or frame for a temporary experience, but it's not like I've never been taken by surprise. This cycle also has just enough short term benefit to DE to make me worry, when these players addicted to broken just shovel plat at whatever they need for the new meta build. I would like to see this stop happening.

But if you just want your broken Xoris, I can't help you, because everything else you're saying is a smokescreen. The fact that it ever existed in that state was in fact the entire problem.

Oh no the Xoris was so broken, what are we gonna do now? idk maybe read the last 50 pages of people complaining why the Xoris was convenient and not strong at all?

K1R6ZJi_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&f

Look at the amount of the damage I can reach with literally any weapon except the Xoris. So broken. Much nerf.

Christ, I'm well aware of how much damage Khora can output, and I didn't exactly rush to swap out my rivened Kama for a Xoris.

So if you don't think "broken" is appropriate, what word would you prefer? Because I don't care a jot what you call it. How about, the fact that the Xoris ever existed in the state in which it circumvented a basic gameplay mechanic common to all other weapons was the entire problem.

He already said, its called "convenient", there are a ton of warframes that would benefit from it. The developer of this game constantly complaint about ppl all playing the same while also nerfing EVERYTHING to a point where ppl are forced into playing frames that are constantly broken and have 0 down times. The Xoris literally made frames that weren't considered viable, more viable, thats all it did! I never played Khora bc i don't wanna bother with this bullS#&$, i was about to change that due to the Xoris, but now i won't. Same for Ash, same for Atlas, same for Baruuk, same for Wukong... why even bother with suboptimal frames? BC of Xoris was the answer, but now it no longer is...

I think that players should get a set of mods and riven with unlocking the xoris there should be a reason to master it, like a reward, as well as repeat blueprints and other items we get in the game, since we have a premium shop and we already own the items which can be attained through trading maxed out and full of endo easily than a steam transaction through other players and through high level fighting, blueprints really need to have some alternatives / an eye opener would be to include a set of glamour and items such as the sugatras, and reminders of the venues, tileset, if they are mailed floofs, and gearsets for mooding the weapon's further introduction to the syndicate interest in making a super soldier, ordis, or the lotus, we do have the ZAW and kitgun specialist, and stances to add adequate level up context with the ypgrades it would make Xoris more interesting if those NPC had some way to give the glaive weapons more features and upgrades. alot of these story rewards, and  mission loot is not perfected, the missions would be nicer if they had reason to be replayed other than the riven offered in most casses it would be right to give the players additional accesories and costumes the first time, statues and other basics for their pets and warframes, and weapons, then the second time the edgy players  can work on getting a few rivens or amalgams in the nearby planets if they have the weapon equiped or aughments, i think additional cephalons would react in those tilesets to give those weapons and warframes additional procs and elemental effects, speed, reload, fast swap, depending  on steal or parazon, and the amount of charges you have built up can regenerate shieds and use for lighting, and regeneration/team-mates, maybe lunara can use  a frisbe

other than that i did not like the Xoris being required for the corpus tileset, or the medallion ssystem since you coulnt release any prisoners without them, but you could shoot and wound them easily this makes the tileset somewhat uninteresting, because it had empty rooms and a lack of firepower on the enemyside, there should be some infested and other lock-downs, lifesupport pods, tennopods, and other treasure or loot, so the mission rewards are too simular to otherplanets and places, so mission complete is still boring way to just grab a glass of water if the orbiter doesnt get any items and relays dont become useful places to get fuel and baro kitteer only seems bogus space, i would love a tileset in the relay to be used for combat and PVE one of these days, maybe the places just need more repair men and grineermen, syndicates need more kitguns and zaw shops blackmarket, shops, and regular npc withoiut the trust /points system so they can be reworked and oimproved, Xoris.

  1. A vending machine with mods through the different relays and orbiters, flotillas, and stations would be a good starter to make reload more interesting, but melee weapons would require a few zaw upgrades and archwing involvement, which weapon swap improves multiple features for primaries and dodging without modding but expending temporary items and combo energy.
  2. so a capacitor might seem to work
  3. this might make the xoris more interesting if it was also a robotic cephalon that analysed and scanned items when its not used, crouching features and passive, not just verbose aspects and railjack functions but it could house a few powers for pistols rounds,
  4. protea requirements are aful,
  5. Xoris

Here's something new and fun to play with, community!

Community actually has fun with it on a few builds that did stupid damage before this stupid weapon.

Oh no, too much fun, let's just bury it.
