Mod Sharing

Hi on one of the recent updates we were allowed to share mods with our drones and leave the arsenal as a whole.

 

Now that i have noticed that we are not able to do it unless we use another weapon or have a duplicate mod card.

 

Admins-It would be great if it can be fully shared again.

 

Public-Come on people. It's silly that some went to complain that they made 2 and it became sharable on one of the updates. Get real! it's even more silly to have 2 of the same. The logic is totally not there.

Duplicating mods wasn't a desired consequence of the mod sharing feature.

It wasn't a complaint it was a bug that got fixed.

 

Logic?  So it is logical that a mod can be in two places at once?  You install it on a primary weapon AND the sentinel at the same time?  It was never intended.

If something comes of an update that seems too good to be true or simply totally OP you can expect it to be balanced shortly.  This isn't unique to Warframe.

Because they are not equipped and being used at the same time.

It was meant as LENIENCY while they were making the change over to the new system. It was never intended to be permanent. go look at all the threads from that period regarding weapon and sentinel weapons sharing mods. It was designed because its a pain in the &#! to change weapon, unequip a mod, save, load other weapon, load mod. because they are two separate weapons NOT being used at the same time.. the mod can be shared so they just reduced the amount of player annoyance. but bringing in the same mod on both the sentinel and the gun you are using at the same time was an unintended side effect. they said they would fix it soon and they did. theres no way in hell they would ever change it back into the intermediate state of weapon + sentinel mod sharing
