Unfortunately the Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds issue has been present for 10 weeks. So far DE hasn't recognized it as an issue even thought it's constantly on the front page of the bug report forum.

I agree that this is an issue. They are not an exalted weapon on the premise that exalted weapons are a warframe ability whereas this is a melee weapon alternative in her kit. I also feel like there should be a checkbox to switch between your assigned melee wep and the frame's kit melee weapon (so you don't have to (un)equip every time if you switch frame). Something either under the frame when it's equipped or in Settings that say automatically override assigned weapon in favor of a warframe's kit weapon. The latter would also be helpful for any future frames that might have a pri/sec/melee as part of the frame's kit.
