ESC and transference stops working. Access Arsenal then exit will then allow ESC and transference.https://www.twitch.tv/videos/738241754 2. Transference and walk into ability prevented zone. This early return happens when host ALT+F4 force close early during mission success extraction, or if UDP network connection to other player was lost. normanator1717 Posted November 2, 2020 Share Posted November 2, 2020 To make farming the atmo systems for vol solaris more fun (second stage), this happened to me probably 20x. Makes it really fun when your squad is voting on a mission, and you can't open escape to leave the squad or accept the mission. I could never track down exactly what I did to make it happen so many times, but I think it might be related to trying to quickly dismiss the menu and/or switching between controller (I use an xbox controller on PC). Numerounius Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 (edited) Having the same issue as well 100% reproduction rate for me Steps to replicate: Finish Profit Taker and enter fortuna, escape key no longer works am softlocked and forced to restart I can still use escape to exit talking to an NPC but cannot access the escape menu sometimes I can't jump or sprint either. But it has to do something with the profit taker since it just happened to me again and could not open up the menu during the profit taker fight but could upon entering orb vallis and the initial dps phases My best guess is that it has to do with the archgun deployer since that is something that would be exclusive to the Profit taker fight. And can press escape normally before the first archgun phase. Another option is it could be with the operator since I am constantly going into operator mode and back to trigger magus elevate. I really hope the upcoming patch fixes this because it is happening to me super frequently. Deklatis Posted November 22, 2020 Share Posted November 22, 2020 Starting bounty after ISO vault #3 and people couldn't accept and/or use esc to force start. My whole reason for doing the vaults was to do the bounty at the end of vault #3. So 1h 12m of my time was wasted because of a bug DE can't fix for past 4ish months.
