Why Are Armor Ignore Weapons Being Completely Superior Acceptable?

I don't get it.You have ,let's say a weapon with bullet damage,and a weapon with physics impact damage of the same amount.Why the hell would you get the first weapon,and struggle vs anything past 50lvl and load it up with AP mods which are mandatory,when you can get the second and have an increase of damage up to even 200-300% against high armor enemies?

Aren't they supposed to be balanced somehow?

Nope, 

 

Take that "better Weapon" and forma the hell out of it, save it, throw a catalyst in it and keep it as your "Go To" forever.

 

Use the other one to gain mastery then sell it once you are bored.

 

Some weapons are just better than others, like how the Marines are just better than the army...

 ;)

Yep. The devs were saying things on the livestream that Armor Ignore weapons will still be best for armored targets, but would do less damage against fleshy targets, whereas normal bullet-types will be stronger there.

With Armor 2.0, everything should be viable for use, with certain guns being better against certain targets, but none are left being useless, unlike the current system where non-armor ignore weapons struggle past lvl 100.
