Hitting ESC doesn't open menu after talking to (most of time) Little Duck

Title explains all, but for evidence(?), I took a video of it.

there's 2 ways to fix(?) this bug when it happened to you: 1, go outside from gate, once you're in orb vallis, hit ESC, you can see the menu.

2, close game entirely by hitting ALT+F4. restart your game. you can see the menu.

this literally always happens when I talk to Little Duck. it happened to my friends too so this isn't happening just for me, but presumably everyone.

I can confirm that this bug is still present in 29.0.1.

0:33 in the video, double pressed the X button (action button) bugs out the ESC menu. Press only once and it won't bug out.

Happened to me, and if in a squad, I probably can't enter Orb Vallis "Waiting for other players" and I can't open menu to leave squad. Forced to Alt+F4 force close.

now I'd have to use that workaround, this bug's killing me. honestly, I'm hating little duck because of this bug. lol

I hope DE will fix this bug ASAP, I've been getting killed by this bug for at least 1 month.
