The Helminth: Community Workshop

What non-nerfed combo's do you look forward to? With the announcements on the Dev Workshop, there's lots of ranting (some of it justified) and not a lot of ideas. I want to make a list that will help players decide which frame they want to be their first subsumed ability-doner. I plan to share these ideas with my discord community after the update arrives.

 

Here are my picks:

Inaros' Dessication because it will allow me to take [Life Strike] off all my melee weapons.

Mesa's Shooting Gallery because I love watching everyone punch their guns.

Nova's Null Star because it will help my not-good-enough Chroma tank the Profit Taker boss fight with less dying.

 

Which abilities do you look forward to?

I was planning on using Valkyr's ripline on Mesa bc I thought it'd be extremely fun, but now that it's off the table

Chroma Elemental Ward on Frost for the cold aura and buffs, doesnt break Frost immersion if using cold element

Trinity well of life on Nekros for survivabiility with Desecrate augment mostly on steel path

I was already planning on putting pillage on hydroid. i mean , that is the most obvious choice, a pirate needs the ability to pillage.

a truly understated ability.

Loki Shuriken sounds like the ideal ninja. Frost staying frosty to keep your immersion is important for keeping it real. The original Space Ninja Pirate needs to pillage too!

 I also liked your idea for Ripline Mesa because then we wouldn't need to use [Mesa's Waltz] and we can dynamically change our combats vectors while using Peacemaker.

These are all great suggestions. There's more than 1000 players in my alliance discord and this will appeal to a huge variety of them. I'll start making my list!

Spectrosiphon on energy needing frames

Larva on gara for max spectro siphon and khora and hydroid for get in my pilfer

Radial blind for frames i want to go invis

Firewalker or whatevs nezhas is to mix with wisp for thicc speed

Possibly warcry for melee funsies.. maybe.
