(PSN)ChaosTheNerd Posted August 20, 2020 Share Posted August 20, 2020 Seriously these multiple complaint posts about the helminth nerfs can actually be used for DE to rethink some of the decisions IF you just use the freaking feedback forum. Just use it so your voice and opinion can be heard as long as your being professional about it. Again, if you want these changes reversed, use the feedback section PLEASE, these posts on general discussion is not doing anything for anyone considering most of us know de rarely looks at gen discussion. It happened the same when they did few tweaks on mesa. At the end it's like a negotiation with terrorists, if you gave them every time what they want, they will ask more the next time. And that's completely right. But in my opinion creating dozens of complaint threads about the same topic isn't acceptable in any section, even GD. People who do that are just seeking attention by posting their comment to another existing thread as a whole new post, in an attempt to get more visibility or to clutter the section in a way that DE has a harder time ignoring. The amount of regurgitation is astounding. If people recycled trash the same way they recycled content creator's words the world wouldn't be able to get any greener. Really it boils down to the target audience... If you're making a thread that addresses the developers, it goes in Feedback. If you're making a thread that addresses other players, it goes in General Discussion. The developers don't go to General Discussion to find feedback. Also, complaints are a type of feedback (if they are addressed to DE), provided they are constructive in nature. Tesseract7777 Posted August 20, 2020 Share Posted August 20, 2020 I feel frustrated for players when I see them, even in the appropriate forum, making their own long feedback threads instead of posting in a megathread when it is a timely discussion. Then, they get angry when they find out their thread was merged as if it will get buried that way, instead of realizing that the hard work of the moderators to organize the discussion actually makes their comments more likely to be seen by DE. This means every decent idea or suggestion will be every time submerged by thousand of posts about complaining dealing 0.1% damage less or you can't kill the emissary in 1 second.. To be fair, recently they've been abjectly ignoring predominant feedback in the megathreads they specifically, personally put there for us to respond to changes/workshops.
