Can't join friends

I've never in 6 years seen this message while joining my friends squad.

Can't join my friends, never had this level of difficulty joining my friends before.

is visa versa also a problem? i assume you didn't change any settings in your network, system or the router, so it might be anything from a hanging router (on your side), routing problems on the way to the friend you want to connect to or even the controll server of DE (which should be fixed then already).

restarting your router or modem (or both if they are seperated devices) is the first and fastest thing you can try. if the routing between you and your destination is at fault, then the admin for that part should usually fix this after a short while too...

ofc, if you use any vpn and/or proxy server, this also might be the source of the problem - so you need to test them too.

Nothing has changed on my side, same setup, router, ect.
Not sure about my friend's setup though.
