my model Necramech! took an entire week to week and a half to make, sorry for the low camera quality.

and this all started after getting out of the shower on a Saturday night, thinking of something I've never done before, and after looking at necramech wallpapers, I said to myself "what if I make a model Necramech and try to finish it before the heart of deimos update gets released?" then the idea struck and I began my work after waking up in the morning.

materials used: hot glue, super glue, dollar store foam board, card poster paper, charcoal black acrylic paint, testors gold paint, and rustoleum clear coat. i had to make every piece out of foam board like legs, upper body, and arms that was glued and layered with hot glue for extra durablility, then for the hands which was the hardest, i had to cut thin little sheets of card poster paper and super glued them together into thick pieces which i folded, cutted, and super glued together which made fingers and a fist, the torso was also a wooden dowel sanded into shape, and with a small net super glued onto which gave the texture of the mechs torso, i then painted everything with acrylic black paint as a undercoat which made it easy for spray paint to attatch on, then for the gold i used testors paint, which is known to make the toughest and most beautifulist gold paint i can find for painting the rest of the mech, i tilted the spray can and pressed lightly to let the paint drip down into a cap and used a brush to get all the details, then i used black crylic paint to cover up any little messy areas, despite the rustolium gold paint being extremely durable and can even be used on metal without any clear coat, the black acrylic paint can wear of over time, so i used rustoleum clear coat to cover the entire mech to add a sturdy protective layer over the black acrylic paint.

and man i know the mech doesnt look well compared to in game, and its flawed, but dang i feel like im the first person who ever thought of this and i hope this inspires others to make their own if they plan to do so with better materials like 3D printing and expoxy coatings.

 

also the model is more durable than it looks!
