Kill dargyn pilots while sliding Riven challenge possibly bugged

I've done the challenge multiple times with no issues already, but today i got a new one and cannot even get a single kill count. Tried multiple ways to do it still no progress. The riven challenge is Kill 2 dargyn pilots before they hit the ground while sliding.

ah, this one is a tricky challenge since it doesn't tell you that there are several weapons that  prevent the condition to trigger. might be also this and not the sliding... but then again, who knows with bugframe ^^)

Last week i completed it with ignis wraith, and it was kill 4 while sliding so it was twice as hard. But now ignis just doest count the kills, soma prime doesnt, rubico doesnt, tried shotguns. Still nothing, and yes i am sure i am sliding, I even picked mirage and modded for slide.

1. Use Titania.
2. Dargyn pilots can spawn in couples on the ground around their dargyns. Or find dargyn flying, hit it and make sure the pilot survive and land on the ground.
3. Use first skill of Titania on the pilot.
4. Watch the pilot fly in the sky.
5. Kill the pilot.
6. Task is done, riven is unlocked.

For all of those dargyn pilot challenges, the pilot cannot die at the same time as you blowing up the ship. You must blow up the dargyn, the pilot must start falling, then you must kill the pilot as they fall.

The problem is that it is unclear from the unlock text that this is how it works.
