Mirage Light/Shadow Ability Indicator

Why isn't there a HUD thing for Mirage above abilities in the bottom right to indicate whether you are in Light or Shadow so you know what buff you are getting?  I think it would be a great idea to add this in so you know what buff you are getting.at all times on Mirage.

My color scheme on my Mirage is pretty bright most of the time, so half the time I can't tell if I have Damage Reduction or amped damage in certain areas.  Could even make it look like a Sun and a Moon turning to rise and set or even as simple as a round button looking thing that is bright orange/yellow when in light and dark blue/purple when in shadow or whatever, but It would be a much needed indicator to clear up confusion.    I mean you guys have been adding these kind of things to other Warframes like Ember and Nezha after reworks but It would just be nice to have a HUD meter/indicator for Mirage, and no rework 😄

Thanks for reading, and hope you consider putting this in the game.

Moreover apparently the buff percent doesn't reflect the amount of buff at any point in time, which scales based on amount of environmental light/dark, but rather just shows the max value available based on mods. Definitely Eclipse needs some QoL improvements, what you said as well!

Yeah, I hope DE reads this and throws it in the game so the player can actively figure out what kind of damage output or damage reduction they are getting based on the light and shadow.

I dunno, you could just look at the buff indicator in the top right and if it's the big number it's the damage buff, if it's the small number it's the damage reduction buff. Not that hard to figure out to be completely honest. Can it be improved? Sure, but I would vote DE puts their time to something that actually needs doing. This is not a real issue.

That's still quite less than optimal but it's also not the really damning issue, the issue is that it doesn't reflect the amount of buff, just shows the max whether you actually have that or not.

I 100% agree with you. The hud in general needs a bit of rework

Still allows you to see the difference which is what we are talking about right? Imo seeing higher numbers is a lot easier to recognize for me rather than having to memorize two icons. Also, but I never noticed this myself Mirage's looks alter slightly when in light or dark areas when this buff is active.

Wiki:

Mirage is encased in a white reflective surface while in light. Her body partially fades away and emits smoke while in shadows.

The only indicator I noticed was the buff changes to 200% if its damage boost and 95% if its damage reduction. I would've preferred if Mirage could easily see the areas on the map that can give light or shade. Like subtle AoEs on the ground that tell you if you stand here its light/dark.

Making it easier to see where you should go for light and dark would be good true.

I myself would like this ability to be more reliable in my own choice. For example press it to gain damage boost and press and hold to gain resistances while only one can be active at any given time. I mean it can still be boosted by light or dark respectively, but at least the buff itself should be controllable.

It is what OP was talking about and I do think we need more obvious visual/HUD indication of what type the buff is, but what I myself am talking about is that the amount of buff just isn't reflected at all, so no, it's not what we're talking about.
