Ephona Prime playing wrong reload & potentially fire animation

The Euphona Prime has inconsistent animations. The primary fire and reload under normal circumstances uses the same reload as the Marelok, features some spins here and there. However, the secondary fire shotgun uses the standard pistol firing animation. Additionally, pressing the reload button immediately after using the Euphona Prime's secondary fire causes the gun to reload using the standard pistol animation instead of the usual Euphona reload. Waiting a moment before pressing reload or letting the weapon reload itself automatically after firing the last shot does not play this animation, so it seems to be something related to timing when the player manually reloads. This could be that the secondary fire temporarily sets the Euphona Prime to use standard pistol animations?

 

  • TYPE: In-Game
  • DESCRIPTION: Using the Euphona Prime's secondary fire, and reloading quickly after using said secondary fire. Occurs in every usage, doesn't seem to behave correctly.

  • Regarding the visual, the video is broken into an analysis of the animations. The first two shots showcase the primary fire and reload, both using the expected animations. The third and fourth shots showcase the secondary fire with a delayed reload, showing the secondary fire using the unexpected standard pistol firing animation, but the expected Marelok-shared reload animation. The final shots, the fifth and sixth showcase the secondary fire with an immediate reload, showing the Euphona Prime using standard pistol animations for both the firing and reload. 
  • REPRODUCTION: Fire the Euphona Prime's secondary fire mode, and press reload immediately afterwards. 
  • EXPECTED RESULT: Reloading plays the Euphona's reload animation, secondary fire plays the Euphona's firing animation.
  • OBSERVED RESULT: Reloading plays the standard pistol animation used by guns such as the Furis and Lato when reloading immediately (Within a window of ~0.5 seconds) after using the secondary fire. Secondary fire additionally uses this animation at all times.
  • REPRODUCTION RATE: Secondary fire always plays a separate animation, presumably a bug. Reload animation plays incorrectly if the reload button is pressed immediately after firing the secondary fire. If the button is not pressed immediately, the weapon will use the expected reload animation.

You'd be right secondary fire is wrong and doesn't spin as intended, and I can confirm pressing reload immidately after firing the bugged secondary animation loads the standard pistol reload too.
