Please change Smeeta Kavat's Charm critical chance buff to additive or else, not fixed value.

Smeeta Kavat's critical chance buff currently modifies your critical chance value at fixed 200%, and since Blood Rush and Gladiator set effects are now additive, when you have weapons/abilities that can reach over 200%+ crit chance(example-Khora's Whipclaw, Baruuk's Serene Storm, Valkyr's Hysteria, Weapons with High cc+Blood Rush+Gladiator set) and smeeta procs charm crit buff, you are stuck in 200% flat crit chance unless you are using Primary weapons with Vigilante set which increases your crit tier. It actually makes your damage way lower.

It's almost as if it's still counter intuitive that it actively makes your gear weaker. Which wouldn't be a big deal (still dumb though) if it didn't also have a loot and affinity doubling buff. It's almost as if this buff existed before as much gear as nowadays could even reach orange or red crits which makes it appear as an oversight after Riven mods, Acolyte mods, Sacrificial mods, Vigilante mods and Melee 2.0 were added and made reaching orange/red crits (especially on melee) more common. But hey, let's just come up with an intention this buff never had since it was good for all weapons and not the low crit chance ones only to defend and keep it this way.

In short (and non-snarkily, thought you'd like it since you did it too): the evolution of the game turned this buff into a conditional debuff and unless its intention actually changed it simply never was adjusted to the new damage enviroment.

Regarding the topic itself. Some might argue it should be additive as OP since, unlike the Adarza's buff, it's random. I personally would be fine if it just gets ignored if the ability or weapon already is at 200%+ crit chance.

How does that crit buff with 4.67% chance to proc for every 27 seconds makes sense for "aimed more towards low-crit chance weapons"? I cannot see your point. You can just use Adarza Kavat which has guaranteed 60% additive flat crit chance every 20 seconds and/or take some hit with Arcane Avenger for making "low crit weapons" into crit weapons.

I'm telling people to stop talking about the brokenly OP thing so that DE stays away from it. Losing a little bit of crit chance sometimes is a small price to pay for the rest of Smeeta's effects.

You trying to tell me what to talk about and what not just makes me want to talk about it even more if I'm being honest. Thanks for the useful input.

Hint: Maybe take your own advice and don't call a thing you don't want nerfed brokenly OP. Which - by the way - noone else but you in this thread did.

You are the only one who are talking about "since it's op so just deal with it" but ok

What they should do instead is measure the current crit% and then not change anything if the value is already 200% or higher. Adding a flat 200% on top of what you already have is rediculous. Making it scale off of crit% is a huge nerf to some weapons with low crit%. My suggestion is more a small qol update that makes Smeeta more usable without changing the power of the buff.
