Xoris Disposition must go up

The low disposition of Xoris isn't due to it's old interaction with semi-exalted weapons, it's due to their new way to setup disposition on weapon release.
To avoid "disposition nerfs" that people hate so much, instead of starting at neutral disposition and buff/nerf if depending player usage, they now start at 0.5 (the lowest) and only buff it. To fit this change, they also increase the maximum disposition change possible to avoid a weapon needing 4-5 prime access to get their latest disposition.

This is false because with Inaros Prime Access, Xoris was left dusted while other Deadlock Protocol weapons got buffed. The mechanical usage of it definitely influenced the choice to keep it at a trash Disposition, and that's wrong. I know how Disposition works, that's why I bring this up. Xoris was left at .5 for no good reason and it hardly competes with any Glaive.

The low Xoris dispo could also be due to skew from those couple weeks it was the hot new degenerate toy for stat stick abuse.

Lots of weak weapons need dispo buffs, not just the Xoris. I'd still like to see DE much more aggressive with dispo changes, there's no reason they needed to limit the Velox buff to 0.8 on such an obviously weak weapon, and they need to pull the scab off the wound with degenerate bunk like Brammas and Redeemers and just dumpster the dispo to 0.5 already because we all know it's going there and deserves to be there.

And because it bears repeating until DE actually does it, delete stat sticks.

I still find disposition , the way DE manages it, to be utter XXXXXXXX it's untinkable that a trash weapon at mastery rank n can get to be better than it's primed version at mastery rank n+6 with the same mod setup and riven...

Everything about disposition flyies in the face of the massive adjustments DE did to all weapons MR and stats some time ago.

Weapons that aren't nearly used anymore still languish at mediocre disposition after being hit 5-6 times in a row.

Meanwhile high disposition is a massively double edged trap due to chance for absurdely high negative traits on the riven (-295% damage; -186% crit chance etc) while still failing in making trash tier weapons even usable.

Xoris nerf also was particularly egregious, instead of removing its infinite combo counter duration for specific frames, DE made it actively detrimental to them, by resetting combo counter at every hit. Utter xxxxxxxxxxxx!

A Xoris with 5 stars disposition can't compete with a glaive prime or the pathocyst(even without using a riven) . That's why it's a MR 4 weapon.

BTW this new disposition system is worse than before, a new weapon should start with 2 or 3 stars.

Oh right, though the balance pass didn't occure yet.
That super weird then.

And that is why Disposition is flawed as a mechanic. Thank you for proving the point I have made for 3+ years on the Forums.

You can in fact make it a high Disposition because even so, it is a Mastery Rank 4 weapon and a Riven Mod will not suddenly change that. It is also a Glaive; a fundamentally under-performing weapon class.

I make this post because I just bought a Riven Mod for it, and I just wanted to write some feedback that uses a relevant example to point out how un-fun and bad it is to leave it like this.

Xoris? who cares its intended to be a throwaway weapon.

You use it for the Granum Void where it works just fine without a Riven

once you have the quest finished and all the Protea+weapon parts farmed up, Xoris becomes irrelevant.

It's normal for DE to release 'content' each update that is temporary/throwaway. Should be used to it by now.

I think it's also important to remember that xoris is unique in that the combo counter will not deplete unless you heavy attack. That gives you more build options and your not locked into naramon school to maximize blood rush and weeping wounds. You also don't need swift momentum or drifting contact. Not to mention the gladiator set bonus to beef up crit chance along with rush.

So does xoris NEED to have a higher disposition? It doesn't even need a riven to begin with.

Can we just get riven dispositions based on the actual power of said weapons and not this stupid popularity version.Weapon popularity changes often especially with buffs, nerfs, reworks and new weapons and DE obviously cant keep up with updating dispositions for guns that are no longer popular.

So just set the dispositions for weapons based on how powerful they are and maybe revisit them like once a year or 2 once power creep has had some time to grow

What? Xoris was never a good or degenerate stat stick. It was a qol one.

Hell even with infinite combo it was worse than mire or jaw sword (or for some abilities, the venka prime).
