destroying a room while a research is in contribution stage

hello i need some info about clan contributions.

so i understand there is a system that if you destroy a room, you get back all the resources that were used to make the room [into the clan vault]

im trying to do a solo clan and i made my first mistake by contributing a massive amount of resources into infested catalyst [which i already have from some other clan] but they werent enough so the research hasnt started yet its still in the contribution phase.

if i choose to destroy the room would the contributed resources go into the clan vault? or only what was used to build the room

while we are on the subject if a research is in progress and i choose to destroy the room does the clan get those research resources back?

I'm no expert, but as far as I know resources put into something not already completed will be refunded to the players inventory, but only if you contributed directly to the object you were building. If you contributed it to the vault it will be returned to the vault. If something has been completed already it will also be returned to the vault.

Not sure what happens to active research.
