The Deimos Neophyte supporter pack

I feel like this pack should be free as it does not include Platinum now I understand the other three packs will cost money as they come with platinum but the Deimos Neophyte pack doesn't.

This. These support packs are a very vague and non-transparent version of Prime Access to squeeze extra out of an update.

The issue with having a Supporter Pack be free. Is that it's not really supporting DE if DE just gave you a free skin, glyph, Carrion Domestik Drone, and Festering Ephemera and you didn't give anything back. On top of that, however, is that while Neophyte doesn't have platinum included in the pack, each of the items have an intrinsic platinum value. So while you don't get platinum for buying these, you do get items that are worth platinum, and thus you should pay for it.

Why not?

I like it, therefore I want it. The spore ephemera has awful neon lightning that cascades down your body and I dislike it. Even if you make your energy black you've got black crap oozing down your frame and it makes the emissives on the spores grey as well. The festering ephemera has boils that grow and pop over the length of your body. Thematically yeah, they're both infested but other than that they are nothing alike.

People forget it says support but you want it for free we get free stuff constantly, people just want it consistently and that’s not how it works

It’s a support pack. It’s there for people who liked the update and give DE money as a token of appreciation. If you really want the cosmetics that bad just buy it.

The empyrean pack is too expensive for what it's worth. Probably not going to buy the new packs too if they have similar pricing.

Their profit was down 12% last year and 20%  this year. .. that's why we got a new open world and don't some of the backlog promises. .  Easyer money. ..

Those packs are not that great value wise, but if you want to have a balanced headstart, have money and don't like the starters why not 🙂

Honestly, with the crap their pulling with the Helminth system. They don’t deserve support.

I'd happily get it eventually for the Whip skin, the rest of the skins in the other packs look pretty terrible. Its a paid thing because its a way to give DE some more money and get a shiny thing in return. A Shiny thing that that you in no way shape or form actually need to play the game with but shows that you liked it enough to put some money to it.
