Steel Path ULTIMATE Reward Idea

So Steel Path gives a +100 Star Chart to reconquer all over again.
A nice challenge to be sure, but I have not found myself overly enthusiastic about doing missions there.
As many have pointed out, the current rewards for Steel Path missions are quite laughable, which could be a big part of the problem.

This gave me the idea for an Endgame Steel Path Completed Star Chart Reward.

What this means is that when you Complete The Entire Steel Path Star Chart - every node - you would get some kind of truly Epic Rewards.

• Perhaps 4000 Free Ducats and Access To Baro's Entire Inventory to go spend it?
• Perhaps A Prime Weapon from each Category (Primary / Secondary / Melee) Of Your Choice AND A Prime Warframe Of Your Choice?
• OR
• Perhaps... Just perhaps.... a Completely UNIQUE Warframe and UNIQUE Weapon ONLY ATTAINABLE if you complete the entire Steel Path Star Chart (All Nodes)...!!!

What are some ideas you have for an Ultimate Reward that would both be WORTHY of pursuing the entire Steel Path Star Chart?  🙂

Downside to that is DE themselves said that Steel Path isn't going to be forced on players, hence the semi-lackluster rewards (although the increased drops make it somewhat better for resource farms if you don't have/want/refuse to have boosters.) Aside from that, Steel Path is what it says on the box: A tentative replacement to the Simulacrum, which is exactly what it is for me personally. For clarification, I definitely want more and better rewards from it, (in the form of certain items, namely Arcane Helms would be nice to see return, if just for collecting purposes, or even some cosmetics beyond the things we have) but to be honest, I don't expect ongoing support for it too much, other stuff will take more precedence, as per the norm.

What you suggest has no impact on its replayability though. You'd still complete it once and then it would still offer the only incentives it has currently: Steel Essence (basically translates into Kuva eventually), Riven Slivers, wanting to face more/higher level enemies "for the challenge", Simaris scans and going to Hydron to leech xp from unsuspecting players. Maybe farming rare resources (no idea how feasible that actually is). 

I recall calling it that within a few months at most SP nodes were going to be dead due to the lack of rewards and incentives and got told off by "Muh Challenge" players.

Regarding your suggestions - despite them not really changing much - from my PoV - no clue what others think:

- 4000 Ducats plus Baro - I have everything except his relics

- Primes - same as above

- Unique stuff - I mean, okay. Doesn't sound like a DE thing to do since everything must be available and doable at MR8 apparently. Still doesn't fix the actual "issue" of little to no replayability. You also already have unique stuff at the vendor (doesn't require to clear it though).

The MR was enough motivation for me to play through it - once.

I suggested to put Umbra Forma BPs on the vendor or somewhere tied to SP (maybe only after it's cleared?). I'm still waiting for DE to reintroduce a way outside of Nightwave to get it after they removed it from Railjack and said they'd add it elsewhere. Others recommended things like all relics being radiant, higher credit rewards, reworked rotations where all the fillers are removed, higher endo, more Kuva in Kuva missions, SP Arbis, SP fissures etc. and more than likely a bunch of stuff I havn't heard yet which also would incentivise people to at least unlock and play all the key nodes to have these farming spots available if needed.

There have been plenty of ideas from players to incentivise a playthrough and revisits but... well... DE doesn't want that for SP. Nothing anyone can do about that.

They could of put helmith system behind SP completion similar to arbitrations.

I think DE needs to do away with Shorties since it gives poor rewards and  limited time challenge. Make Steel path the new shorties and add modifiers and different perks given to the enemy ai so that the difficulty is diverse in steel path. Shorties just need to go away and are way to limited on everything. Ones you do the three shorties the challenge of warframe is over with a poor rewards pool.If steel path were the new shorties you can do the shortie things on any node that you want with out a cool down period. So in conclusion get rid of shorties and replace the idea with steel path.

I'd settle for SP Arbitrations. The rewards, eh, if they just remove Seeding Step Ephemera that would be nice, but the extra resource chance booster for additional vitus essence along with steel essence now dropping would be plenty attractive as is.

I would prefer a more in-depth currency system as the steel essence is both rare and limited in terms of what you can trade for it, essence should be common and the 'shop' should have far greater options (rare mods, event weapons, custom weapon, operator, warframe skins, large amounts of resources to trade, arcanes - possibly custom ones like arbitration).

I'd pass on an "ultimate reward" for just the normal things to so in steel path like arbi, fissures, liches, kuva siphons/flood, sortie etc...

DE created a situation where there is literally nothing to do except farm essence, and the best way to do that is hide in a hole and whip a wall with Khora for a couple hours. 

I pretty much use Steel Path as a better simulacrum. Can test stuff quick and easy. We didn't need a whole star chart for that though.
