(PSN)Vylnce
In a quest to build duplicates, I've rediscovered the pain of acquiring some frames (or in some instances specifically, reacquiring them). While I had long since forgotten the RNG hell that Equinox is, it's still more reasonable than the manner in which Limbo (and other quest frames) must be reacquired. There are a few frames spread out over a few factions, which seems fine, but Cephalon Simaris is a ludicrous choke point. Even as a max level player, the 30K daily cap means it takes 3 days to acquire Limbo's component blueprints from him. Octavia is a similar time investment. The time investment (day wise with the standing cap) could be adjusted many ways. His standing cap could be adjusted. I am not sure if this could be done independently of other factions somehow. I know this would also affect the acquisition rate of other items he sells, which might not be a desired effect. His prices for warframe blueprints (and component blueprints) could be lowered. This seems like the easiest answer. Blueprints that can be obtain by completing a quest in an hour or so, don't seem like they should be hidden behind a wall that takes 2+ days to get through for a max level player (and much much longer for lower level players). I might even suggest he should just sell the blueprints for credits since you already need to have the quest done for them to be available. The component (and/or warframe blueprints) could be added to the drop tables in some manner. This seems like perhaps the most complex option. It would be hard to figure out where to stick many and the idea that people could obtain quest items before completing a quest isn't desirable. The quests that grant the blueprints could be allowed to be redone. This also seems like an easy option, because it wouldn't affect much, but I am not sure how difficult it would be to implement. Some of the quests would likely need to be made solo so people can't get carried to quests they haven't unlocked, etc. Please do something to address this issue. While reacquiring frames should involve some time investment, it shouldn't require quite so much time waiting specifically on Cephalon Simaris. sunderthefirmament
PC got the update that halved the Simaris prices. I don't think it has hit consoles yet. So that will help, when it arrives (if it hasn't yet). It's kind of an annoying grind, but Steel Path stealth scans make it go by quickly. And turning in your completed scans award standing that exceeds your daily cap, which is always nice. Honestly, I think halving the prices and introducing Steel Path are enough to alleviate this particular grind. It encourages players to re-engage with a game system they may have ignored for quite a while. In the end, I think it's okay that some of these quest frames take a while to reacquire. Let's recall that you'll only be able to subsume one Warframe every 23 hours. And to bring up the example you used, I can't imagine that you're in all that great a hurry to have Limbo at the top of your subsuming list. (PSN)Vylnce
The scanning is quick, I agree. It takes basically one spy mission on Steel Path Kuva Fortress to max it. I have been doing this repeatedly so RNGesus can curse me and continue to not give me Harrow parts. It's the multi-day wait to get a single frame that it annoying me. Like I have to do a simple 10 minute mission to max, but I have to wait over a 3 day period to get all the parts that is the annoyance. It would be nice if I could find what the parts are listed for on PC. Limbo parts are 25K standing each (so one per day) on PS4 currently (25 August 20). If they got halved, and it was two days to get a frame, it might seem more reasonable.
