If the drops are really imporant to you, I would recommend setting a task in your OSs Task Scheduler to open up the stream in the event that you can't be there in person.

I've in the past just left the browser open to the applicable twitch page but Twitch seems to error out after some time and even tho the stream started it didn't update my browser. So I just set it to launch ~30 seconds before the stream is scheduled

The only real things that you need to make sure of so Twitch counts you as a viewer is that

  1. The Browser tab has to have focus, largely because the video needs to be rendering.
    • So you're best off looking up and passing thatever your browser of choices "open in new window" argument is, No one said your screen had to be on~
  2. The Video itself can not be muted
    • However it can be dropped down to 1volume, the application itself can be muted on a system level or your speakers can just be off. As long as the video itself is not muted.
  3. Last but most importantly you need to be logged into twitch, so the browser you use can't be clearing your credentials between launches.
    • That way when you push the Warframe Twitch web address to the browser it launches it with you logged in. Might be worth it if that's concerning to have a browser dedicated to nothing but Twitch.

There are a few other things you have to manage like making sure you computer is in a state where it can launch the browser and if you want to get really fancy you can tell it to shut off say 40 minutes after it opens the Warframe stream.

This is a myth, I have muted the recent streams and still got the drops. However, better safe than sorry.

For me I just open a new window on chrome and head to the warframe channel ( https://www.twitch.tv/warframe ) and leave it there.

Once the stream is online, this page would automatically play. I have done this on many stream at 3~7 AM

I can attest that it is a myth, since 2018 most of the streams that had a drop for me were muted
