(PSN)NemitheNem Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 Glitch found in Steel Path and experimented with in Simulacrum. I was running Ash Prime and my Kuva Sheddig with Prime Smite Grinner, crit and finisher damage. Sneaking up on an enemy and doing a finisher? Dead. Fatal Teleport finisher? Dead. Blade Storm and (Fatal) Teleporting in to help my shadow clone? It doesn't seem like anyone dies. I see a few guys missing a quarter of their health. Tried it in the simulacrum, same results. xXRampantXx Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 That's not a glitch, it's just because the damage from fatal teleport come from a is a melee finisher, not the power itself, and therefore uses you're melee weapon's finisher damage, while blade storm is just "a power" and uses nothing but the power's damage. (PSN)Ozymandias-13- Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 Blade Storm is affected by effects that enhance finisher damage, but Fatal Teleport only forces Teleport to do a finisher and exclusively enhances that damage done with the Teleport. When you use Teleport to join in Blade Storm you are simply using Teleport to activate the synergy (for free) with Blade Storm, but are not actually performing the Teleport finisher or benefiting from Fatal Teleport. Fatal Teleport is the superior single target damage (for things like Nox, Bombard, Eximus, etc.), where Blade Storm is your aoe damage to kill trash mobs. Velitria Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 It would be nice if all powers scaled on basic weapon mods instead of a select few (cough khora) *errghuhumph*. Not to mention the real glitch is that ash's 1 doesnt scale damage with power strength which has been broken for a while now. How about have it scale on pistol mods? Could we just have a modding section for all damaging powers? That would be pretty unique and add variety. Energy costing abilities shouldnt be worse than weapons.
