After returning to orbiter, I checked the last mission results and it shows the mission I played BEFORE playing the infested salvage. Blueprint drop, affinity(I was ranking up a weapon and reached max rank), and possibly everything else obtained had gone back to how it was before I played the infested salvage mission.
