Kadesfy
Proteas 4 is a little bit clunky to use in the actual state, so I was thinking of a little change that can turn it into a more dynamic skill: 1- Let's say proteas 4 has a x sec duration, so these x sec are AWAYS being recorded (damage included), just hold 4 to rewind and release at any point within x sec to restore your energy, health, and ammo and also releasing the explosion damage stored within that time. so you will have better control of hers 4. 2- If you just tap 4, you set an anchor restore point, and if you tap 4 again within these x secs, you will immediately teleport to that point with all the energy, health and ammo you once have, but with no explosion AoE, (the animation for this can be like the one used when the Grineer commander switch teleport you, for exemple). 3- The death save rewind however will only happen if you have pressed 4 at any point within the ability duration, and the actual animation will trigger. chaotea
Theres a fix for this comming today. Replace it for something better 😄 But seriously your in the right ballpark here, its often so clunky. I'd prefer something that once activated drains energy constantly, but when deactivated, rewinds you the stante you were in when you activated it, minus the cast energy cost (which would only be applied after the rewind occurs). While i love the idea of your 1, when you see whats happening during the ability (audio is also recorded, along with model positions, ect) it would be too memory heavy for sure. (PSN)Ozymandias-13-
I like this idea. That works similar to Chronos in Smite. For convenience though it would be easier (for me) to just Tap for instant rewind, and Hold to place an anchor (which then allows normal Tap again to rewind to that anchor point). CopperBezel
I just think it's a functionally baffling ability. It does an awful lot of things, and none of those things are particularly useful, and thanks to the rewind animation, it also takes forever to do them. I've thought it would be nice to have a recall teleport ability somewhere in the game before, but recall running backwards and resetting my health and energy is significantly less so. The rewind does get disorienting. At least it's not usually too flashy or my epilepsy would like a word with me, but I still tend to look away from the screen whenever I rewind. I use her 4th often, but I can't say i'm that much more effective in combat for it. I activate it, then put down her dispensary and start throwing down my turrets then kamikaze myself into enemies as it detonates and rewinds me back. In the end though I fee like I'm no worse off just standing in place with the dispensary giving me energy so I can keep casting my other abilities non-stop.... The frequent and practical reasons I use it (and it's just so dang fun to do) is rewinding my way back out of Spy vaults, Sabotage rooms, and Rescue prisons...😆 It does require quickly and accurately getting to the objective fast enough though, or risk wasting the energy cost by canceling it. But so far that hasn't been an issue.
Antris
Agreed, like the Prince of Persia series. Rewind on demand, maybe consuming energy per second?
