Doraz_
I appreciate the Verticality of demios, in sharp contrast with the plains and even more with orb vallis. The world edge is the worst so far tho ... not the 2 big snakes fighting that's awesome ... the transition between them So, instead of adding useless, inaccessible land that will never get used by the player why not implement this This is concieved as an interesting mix of a static ( more controllable) environment, but surrounded by a randomly generated one Big Challange .... You could go infinitely in any direction The level scales infinitely as well Memory-wise, it could be a nightmare BUT Warfame "should" repurpose code and assets ( enemies and entities) so what would have to be saved is just text that tells the game what to build based on player position, GREEN ( CHallange MOvement zone ... just serves as a way to connect 2 randomly generated zones ... smartly reduces the actual number of areas to render and memoeize) RED ( standard zones, might have caves, mountains, abbandoned faciities, rare loot that usually you would have to grind for with standing) BLUE ( Restricted to mostly either surface missions or underground missions, hazardus condition present instead undergound only might have toxic winds, surface only might have the snake eat you if you try and go deeper ... again, smartly reduces again the ammount of stuff crammed into one place, player might not even notice). Every time you start Deimos open world, the world is different ... a HiGH risk zone with all sorts of dangers. I know it's probably too unrealistic, expecially with covid and i'm very sorry, but you would be absolute god gamers if you were to pull this off. basically and honestly, i would prefer to experience your handcrafted stuff any day of the week but warframe has so much potential with procedural mechanic glad at least caves use that to their advantages. edit: now damn it, in Italy is 4 AM and really can't stay up more, such a good update this was ... with its problem but still, nicely done!
