it is difficult to see the point to mine ... there is no indication as it exists in cetus / fortune. It's usually a blue / red crack that's easy to see ... Thank you if you can do the same in this new open world!

it's true the colours are more difficult to see because of the overwhelming sameness of red throughout the map, but the problem more is that I'm standing on top of the mining spot and we get things like this where no mining points show up:

or they fade in and out of site like this one (it faded out when I hit the F6 to screenshot it):

or they're in such difficult spots that it's impossible to mine without an auto-fail on the marker point:

I'm going to report more in the bug threads as I'm sure I can find more instances of this bad farm to go on. 

Never mind the conservation hunting which I've heard at least three streamers saying it's not worth it given the conservation targets spawn infrequently and the infested on the plains home in on them to kill them immediately.

DE please fix mining, the spot is so hard to see as of right now. My eyes hurt for just mining 10 min.

Super frustrating. It's like trying to find kuva cloud on Eris tileset, everything is similar in color like MBaldelli said. The mining points also disappear/reappear, even worse on parts that move or pulse, which is kind of half the map.

To me is the full map with this problems....take ages to find!

I had to visit the forums immediately after my first experience with mining on Cambian Drift. 

Visually, the map is stunning. But everything is moving, red, and floating about. Add a barely visible (often the same texture as the object it is on) mining node and it becomes extremely difficult to find. It's like a Where's Waldo book, but everyone is wearing a Waldo Shirt and Hat.

My experience was exactly this:

1. Equip the scanner.

2. Run to a node marker.

3. Follow the beeping to its highest level.

4. struggle and struggle to find what I am looking for. (Even while zooming in with the scanner and looking for the blue marks)

5. Get attacked by infested.

Repeat 4 and 5 at nausea.

 

Please make the nodes brighter, and not the same textures as the infested map.
