How can I obtain nitain?

I heard something about nightwaves and I have 3000 out of 10000 points but idk when I get credits for the points and also where to find the night waves shops?

Entering the heads to access the crime scene is just the story part, though you get 7K points for completing each crime scene. When you click on Nightwave at the bottom right of the navigation screen you should see a bunch of challenges you can complete for 1k-7k points depending on the challenges and completing enough challenges to get 10k points should get you enough creds to buy Nitain as crystal creds are the reward for reaching rank 1. These are the current challenges.

maybe, though this is a new feature to Nightwave, so we'll see if the mystery-thingies is something that continues into other Seasons or if it'll be a different theme next time.

Thank you all for the responses! I figured it out last evening. I was previously accessing Nightwave from a little announcement on my pause menu.

I did not know you could also access it from a console near the ramp - which I honestly did not even see until, when passing, I caught the word Nightwave out of the corner of my eye. I have now purchased my Nitain and in 72 hours or so I should have my Mesa Prime. (I also purchased, what seemed to me, some choice mods! Great prices on that Nightwave vendor.)

IIRC a crime scene is entered automatically if you have one which you have not completed yet. You can exit it at any time (the Cephalite Resonance is used only if you scan the victim after you have gathered all the leads/evidence pieces). When you exit, you should be brought back to the Nightwave menu, however I can see this behaviour could be different on different platforms. IMHO it is a bit confusing!

In any case, there should alwayus be an wasy way to enter the actual Nightwave menu - it would be a weird oversight if there wasn't. FWIW I think a (non-finished) Crime-simula is never entered automatically unless you are in solo-only mode.

If you fail a Crime-Simula (this is possible) you will lose the possibly used resonance, but can retry as many times you need (if you have still enough resonance). After completing, you can still replay any of the Crime-simulas, just to re-experience them / listen to the dialogue (no Cephalite Resonance is used anymore, which makes sense, as the standing reward is also one-shot reward).

AFAIK there are five Crime-simulas (episodes) in every Series. The series lasts for... some months(?) and a new episode is released every few weeks (not sure about the timespans!). IIRC you need to complete the episodes in order, and you have time until the Series ends - but I've only played Warframe during the currently running series.

Ghoul Bounties can serve as another source of Nitain, when they're active.
the Chances are.... not great, but far and above the Chances in any other Mission in the game.

The first time you click it when a new crime scene is opened up you go into the crime scene. The next time you click it you will see the challenges and a pentagonal symbol on the lower right with some numbers representing the crime scenes which take you back into them if you click on them.

1. Yes. You click on the number of the crime scene.

2. It should only do that if you visiting the Nightwave screen for the 1st time since a new chapters been released. Other wise it may be bugged.

3. Each week has different challenges, worth different amounts, as well as daily challenges, that I think last 48 hours. You can access expired weekly challenges by clearing all challenges in the current week.

4. Currently we have 4/5.

1. Yes, all of them can be replayed.
2. Yes, just go trigger all the crime scenes, and you'll be able to see the menu, you can solve them later (they appear as a pentagon on the lower right corner)
4. There are four right now, I think we might get one more.

You can get them at any rank AFAIK as long as you have at least 15 of the current Nightwave credits (Crystal Creds). When you go into Offerings you can see how many creds you have at the top right.

You get cred at specific ranks and every rank after 30

The nightwave shop is in the bottom corner of the nightwave screen, called Offerings

Be careful when buying nitain, as they come in bundles of 3 for 15 cred
