Can Some Please Explain To Me What's Going On Here?

So i was in a mission on kappa, when i noticed something strange. This guy would be running up a wall slide down and then jump off and get some kills. Is this guy a hacker or did he find an exploit, or am i just imagining things?

EDIT: AFAIK it's a new exploit(?) with the Heavy Impact mod. Don't know about the range, since from what I know the impact wave is centered around player's impact point on floor.

Really? It only takes that much of a fall to do that kind of damage? So do i have to be a rhino to be able to do what he does?

Apparently it doesn't trigger from height, but by time. And time spent hanging on wall is counted as air time.

 

Wiki:

"Wall sliding adds to the time spent 'falling', and will increase the damage and radius of the shockwave."

That's mad awesome.
