Hunting for Avichaea has now made me hate hunting and this update

I used to not mind doing hunting. Then DE you had to introduce this nuisance. That and you made hunting mandatory. So the problem here is you have to have 5 tags of this bird to rank up. One spot where to start finding his track doesnt even have feces or whatever it is you use to start it. Only one spot works and after I find the spot to call it doesnt show up on radar. I have to spend 5-10 minutes looking around the sky for this #*!%ing bird and after 10 minutes I quit. This S#&$ is #*!%ing stupid as hell and at this point im done. Im not entertaining this update. This area is boring, story was dumb, its buggy as hell, and its not worth the time and effort. Cant even fly around without stupid tendrils chasing you down. This is a poor excuse for an open world and an update. The only good thing here is I didnt waste my money on this update.

They really do need to fix this hunt for sure.  3 out of 4 hunts this damn bird got stuck in terrain or never showed up at all for me.  Some spots never had any tracks that lead to the nest, but still had the objective circle so you have to wander around in it until you randomly find the nest.  Both the color that animals flash when viewed through the tranq rifle scope and the size of this thing make it incredibly difficult to spot against the terrain.  I don't mind conservation as much as others might, but I do agree that it should have remained as an alternate way to progress through a syndicate, not be mandatory.  It also feels quite unrewarding in that there is literally no standing gain whatsoever for doing it in Cambion Drift, and there is no incentive to try and get good/perfect captures  - Cambion Drift conservation rewarding Son Tokens would solve this issue.

It's cancer it's absolute cancer, the conservation nodes go nowhere or they go in a cave then point you out to go out of cave but when you come out there's nothing there or the node tracks don't exist or the small flying creatures dont show up. And worst part is you have to hunt these creatures to rank up or for tokens. Horrible absolutely terrible work DE.

What are you talking about, it's not pretty easy and definitely requires a lot of effort, for instance finding the nodes that work is hard enough already and then seeing them in this color pallette is bad already, everything is orange with dust particles, they are small, they fly high.

Most people that think it's little effort actually mean they are capturing the ones that randomly spawn in the map, not actually going through the buggy minigame

Yeah, the mini game version, especially for flying conservation is has always been fairly slow and a buggy process.

My issue at the moment is the 5 common avicheae taqs required for rank 3.  Every time I've gone hunting for them so far, there's 1 hunting location on the map.  The hunting location doesn't respawn, requiring a map reload to get another. They don't have tracks to follow.  They're tiny and the scanner glow on the tranq blends in to the general color scheme of the map.  They still have the flying conservation issue of falling into the landscape when tranqed.

Since there's no direct reward for conservation (which I actually enjoy a fair bit) they should have done something a bit different for this.  Either giving multiple tags for a good / perfect capture or directly giving son tokens for captures.

Spent 2 hours trying to get even one. I don't understand. They don't appear / invisible / bugged. It's said it spawned but I literally crawled every cm up and down around, nothing. Pure cancer. I would like to see Megan/Rebecca catch at least one during their streams.

Edit: I was able to get a couple of tags using the one spawn point in the middle. The far left one (west edge) seems really bugged - not only tracks don't appear, but the bird is nowhere to be found even if you wander into to the call point without tracks. Or I am blind.

The bird hunts have always sucked. I skipped them on Fortuna anytime I actually needed to do hunting, beyond the basic tag collection for floofs. The birds bug out really REALLY badly.

Hopefully DE finally notices. I guess this means I really will need to rely on Ivara for hunting again.

Why DON'T the Conservation nodes respawn, incidentally? That has to be a bug, because I can't imagine someone at DE thinking "Conservation needs to be finite and require a zone reload, even though it worked just fine in Cetus and Fortuna." Just being able to keep doing a specific hunt without going back to the Necrolisk would help tremendously.

While the tracks are bugged I had that one working the most consistently.
Generally it lead me to a  "cave" with blue vent in  it.  I would do the lure then get directly ontop of the cave and the bird would spawn reasonbly close by and because you were practically on its level already it was a lot easier to spot then just blindly looking around for it from the ground.

Yeah seriosly like half the locations for this hunt are outright bugged before the bird even spawns so have fun running back into the hub and back out to try again. Then not to mention the thing is so damn small that even with glasses i cant frickin see it even if it does spawn

Nah. I've done both. There are bugs, but it's not as bad as some people are making it out to be.

In fact, for the Avichaea, there's one really good spot for them. Capture them, go capture something else next, and repeat.
