Sticky-Click Mining Bug

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but this problem has been present ever since I got my first mining tool. Often, when mining, I'll release to hit that sweet spot on the mining wheel, and the gauge just keeps going. Just a moment ago, I was mining on Deimos and I released click and, not only did the mining tool not stop firing after I released, but it kept mining for about 10 extra seconds before my patience finally wore out and I clicked again to refresh the firing process. Now it's few and far between to find times when this doesn't happen. Also, it's not just a mining issue, but an issue with that specific system overall, because I have also encountered this problem while using the hotfix gun Omni on my Railjack. The bug doesn't happen anywhere else in-game or out of game, so it's not a hardware issue (as far as I can tell). I don't know if it's a release-detection issue or what, but it's frustrating as hell and needs to be fixed.

 

Edit: Bug happens just as much when playing solo in an open world (as I usually like to do), so it's not likely to be some sort of host lag or sky-high ping.
