Id like to start off by saying that the open world map is great and all, amazing job on the landscape, but theres alot to work on. I dont mind the regular farming i know and love. But when I can't do that and have these issues to deal with, it makes me want to avoid playing. 

 

Firstly, im not happy with the standing and system implemented. The amount of farming is fine, but when you have to spend hours to take away from the normal farming to put your time and energy into a task unrelated to resource gathering, (referring to tags), it adds to the displeasure of the update considering you get 1 tag per animal. That is a waste of time.  

Secondly, mining. Everything is behind a mesh and I cant see or mine the resources without spending 5 minutes zapping a tree or fleshy wall at random spots, adjusting my frame to be positioned approximately on top of said resource.

Thirdly, the token system is immensely tedious to deal with. Tokens are highly overvalued when the resources themselves should not be used to obtain tokens. I believe that the idea was not thought through well enough, and I stand firmly on that. The mining should have been tested more, fishing is fine, other than random drop chances on fish parts. Thats not cool. RNG on fish internals is not a logical system in the slightest.  

Im not impressed with the standing system when i need to farm incredibly rare resources, in which I cant see (mining) and the annoyances of conservation. 

If your goal is to drive veterans away from the game, it is probably going to work. I had no problem farming and such, until I seen how little tokens I receive whenever purchasing from select vendors. I think tokens should be circulated into the bounty system, offering tokens from all vendors instead of just 1 specifically. It would add more incentive to continue doing bounties, without needing to trade in resources needlessly. Very unimpressed with the floof system being forced on us. Again, make this optional and not a requirement. Im not progressing through Deimos anymore until that is gone.
