(PSN)SLMDS2
a large muscular warframe, resembling a horse. His arms used to be 4 but fused into 2 and same with his legs and it can be seen in the fine lines in his legs and arms (Slepnir is a horse with 8 legs). Like a horse, he has a mane running from his head to his back. His colors would mainly be black and some shades of grey. Abilities 1. Master of dimensions - this ability chnages the gravity affecting slepnir. When activated, slepnir's gravity is switched to a different surface (namely the surface he looks at) ex. If slepnir looks at a ceiling, his gravity will be inverted (just his, his enemies are not affected by this ability). 2. Gravity turn - slepnir casts this ability on his enemies (number of enemies depend on ability rank and mods) which cause their gravity to rapidly change, slamming then into all surfaces. (Ability continues for 8 second)(more effective when used is close quarters such as caves and ships). 3. Dimensional hole - slepnir casts a receiver ord that attaches to any surface, then casts another one. When both are in place, they open a window (much like nova) slepnir can move through this window and even shoot and cast his abilities through the window. (Unlike nova, it is not a straight shot). The ability does not run out, but there can only be one window open. Portals can stay open for entire match. (The 3rd cast will disable the Dimensional hole). 4. Gravitational pull - slepnir demonstrates his power by casting a field of increased gravity. The pull is so strong, it forces his enemies to their knees. If the enemy is not forced to their knees it slows them greatly, and it completely crashes weaker enemies. Radius increases with the longer the ability button is held Special effects 8 points of the compass- the map is 100% revealed and all resources are mapped out. Not sure if all of your ideas are realistic given Warframe's gameplay but it certainly is a fun frame to imagine ingame.

To me, this is the only good part. Also, it’s a horse, could other players ride it? The abilities just seem a little pointless. I don’t think they would be of any use most of the time. But is the idea to keep with a theme? For a more appropriate game I do think it sounds reasonable. But you’d just be left with people complaining because your abilities are not helpful or counterproductive.

Is is still a warframe. It has horse elements it is not a complete horse. As for the abilities, they are meant to provide tactical advantage. He can reach difficult areas with ease and can traverse the most difficult areas. In norse mythology, slepnir is Odin's mount, who can traverse any terrain. I understand that not all of his abilities would be effective in all areas, but that is the case for my warframes. Slepnir specializes in smaller spaces with many surfaces. Being able to walk on walls/ceilings etc is not beneficial. It would be easier to become stuck and melee weapons would become non-functional - unless enemies followed you. But then that hinders other players. What benefit is there in traversing difficult areas? I am not sure what you are defining as a "difficult area", I am yet to find any location in a mission that is difficult to get to (excluding places we are not meant to be able to go). And open worlds have this trivialised with AW. The concept itself sounds good. But it just seems like DE would have to release areas specifically tailored to the frame to see any real benefit from the abilities. 9 hours ago, (PS4)SLMDS2 said: And no people can't ride it.
