Deimos "Salvage" type mission not completing

Any time there's a salvage mission to break 3 tumors to open up the big tumor cache, after breaking the large tumor (and Loid shouting to break it open) the mission fails to complete. It says "Completed" but doesn't actually give the completed mission rewards, or move on to the next stage/end. It just freezes progress after breaking the Tumor.

Update: It seems either the Cache itself is spawning inside the tumor, or more likely, the cache is spawning inside the biomass set piece the tumor is sitting on
