Can confirm this, they spawn extremely high up in the air, they are also not very big making it a lot harder to spot them, also from what i have found they do have a habit of spawning inside of items like tumors, walls, ceilings, etc. if the call spot is in a bad location.

Yeah, they spawn really high, especially difficult to find them if the trail ends indoors, harder to see where they are from the beginning. Real pain in the ass.

EDIT: For me the starting point for them is almost ALWAYS to the west of the map near Cerebrum Magna, and every time it spawns there it's next to impossible to find the little bastards. And from that point I can't see the trail, I need to run around the yellow circle area to find the damn trail.  Anyone else having this issue?

When I track them and use the lure, they don't even appear for me. Ill look around and then the progress bar at the top of the screen disappears. In addition to that, tracking through that infested grass is near impossible! The chosen colors for the tracks don't mesh well with the environment.

Now I am really really really angry.   I looked my Entrati standing and pressed the rank up button to double check the number of  common aviachae  tags I needed to rank up.

Yesterday I had two tags.  TODAY I HAVE ZERO! ZERO!! ZERO!!! What is this!  are we supposed to get  all 5 tags within a single gaming session! It that it!  And they don't  tell us!

That is STUPID! STUPID!! STUPID!!!

And is there even a word from DE about this? Anywhere?

What happens is sometimes the Avichaea gets bugged. They will sometimes spawn inside the ceiling. You can just return to the Necralisk and back to Cambrion Drift and hope for a better spawn, or wait for a potential fix. Being suffocated in a wall is not a good life.tua94Cc.png

yeah, out of all the flying creatures -if not every creatures inside warframe, they have the stupidest sound, spawn direction, and movement pattern.

sound is so high pitched and echo-ey, it's almost impossible to pinpoint the direction it's coming from. my speakers and ears have absolutely no problem pinpointing direction of every other animals in warframe.
even if you managed to figure out where it'll come from, they won't necessarily come from that direction.

mergoos flies from single direction, upon reaching the call point, they'll descent and hover there for a while, easy shot.
sawgaws are trickier, because they don't always come from the direction of the sound. but they always land on one of those huge mushroom thingie and move between mushrooms until we find it. just point your tranquilizer to every mushrooms and you'll eventually find it. archwing to nearest mushroom to get a good aim, ez.

avichaeas are just bad game design. i think they're trying to combine sawgaw's hopping around and mergoo's hover, but it definitely doesn't work. even the name is stupid, anyone know how to pronounce that?
