Tranq Rifle's orange highlight and Heart of Deimos

I'm certainly not the only user that finds this really eye straining but i'm confused as to why the Tranq Rifle's orange wild life highlight is orange in the Heart of Deimos open world. 80% of the color pallet is in shades of red and orange which makes hunting for conservation pretty aggravating and confusing.

I don't have much of a problem  having to look around a little more, but nevertheless I won't complain if they make the highlight a much more obvious and use colour that stands out from the enviroment like a bright blue or green. The more QOL the better, but yeah bad decision in hidsight, making the highlight colours orange in an enviroment like deimos.

It also needs a longer pulse time, the blinks are so short that it is too easy to pass over the target multiple times.

...Though they shouldn't have introduced another freaking BIRD TO TRANQ WHEN THE LAST 3 HAVE BEEN GLITCHY AS ALL HELL.

...Sawgaw PTSD, don't mind me.

Yeaaaah... It either needs to be a lot brighter, or tied to our own energy color imo. Trying to spot those tiny infested birds in certain areas is an absolute nightmare due to the orange highlight color...where everything else around it is the same orange color.

It took me like half hour to find one hanging on a wall, hidden behind other debris.

Animals, footsteps, poop, call spot piles all really hard to see for me despite fiddling with all graphics setting. The main reason I hate hunting and why I abandoned nightwave. Also to find a tiny bird flapping in the sky now you get a huge yellow area it's like finding a needle in a haystack (and no it's not always directly above). I'm putting it down to my old LCD panel cos I don't see a massive amount of people complaining maybe a more modern monitor would help. In the meantime I'll struggle on to do the minimum hunting needed for progression and then abandon forever.

Agreed: they need to change the color to something more contrasting. Orange worked rather well against the mostly-white backdrop of Venus, and less-so but still acceptable vs the brown backdrop of Plains, but it's entirely inappropriate on Deimos.

Furthermore, they need to keep the animals highlighted all the time when the gun is equipped, much like the beep on the mining laser even when you're not scoped in. The highlight can pulse from dim to bright, drawing your attention, but it needs to STAY highlighted all the time.

lastly, and while applicable here it's more a general QoL change,  they need to let us customize the reticle color in general. I can barely see the faded-grey reticle on most guns. I can barely see the center of the Necramech reticle because the gold washes out among the scenery, and the reticle is too busy anyway. Let me change the reticle to a bright contrasting RED so that I can actually see the damn thing.

the tranq rifle really does suck, and needs reworking:

- no more 3 round magazine, just let it have unlimited shots: you can only shoot an animal once before it's alerted anyway and then it's a matter of your own accuracy. missing 3 shots and then having to wait for the reload is annoying.

- upgrade the scope to show tracks and which direction the creature is in, a small Sonar/radar thing with dots in the corner would be good enough: non-intrusive and gives a good idea of where the creature is.

- add an Icon on said radar to indicate the creature is above or below you. something to make bird hunting a LOT easier.

makes no sense that the mining cutter does everything while the tranq rifle, something actually used against a living creature, gives ZERO clue on there the target is.

There is an avichea in this screenshot... :D

I think the easiest solution is just to make the energy colour of the tranq rifle optional. But in the meantime, take this tip - Use Equinox with range and duration and a contrasting energy colour like say bright green. Spam sleep near your target and it will highlight it the energy colour for you, making it easier to see.
