Mech won't Rank Up

I recenetly got my mech and brought it into the open world, where it said it ranked up. I would then exit it and re-enter for it to say that nothing has ranked up. (Mech Arch-Gun Only)

I had the similar issue with the mech itself however, but it would rank up in the open world and I would be able to use the abilities, but then when I would go back in the main hub and leave again. all the levels disappeared and it was rank 0.
