JE4EGnL.pngCurrently I am a Scintilla and the Damaged Necramech Pod away from completing my mech. I have multiple parts (6 to 8) of the other parts, but this one never dropped once. This is killing me

How is the grind treating you guys?

Then your problem is not the grind, is the RNG.

RNG is part of the grind tho. RNG is why I am flying over the world for one hour straight to get mechs and get them destroyed. This is boring after a few hours

Serious question, are necromechs even worth using? I used one I found randomly on Cambion Drift and it’s damage was waay weaker than my weapons and it’s abilities were a big “meh”

I mean it’s 1 throws a cannister... ok

Unmodded stuff is always weak ^^ Probably gets better when you got one and can mod it. Will report back if I have it done wich won't take long from now

How so you even get these? Necromechs arent common to find and the drop chance seems super low.

During the Day cycle there will be common spawn locations of the broken mechs. You fly through them all, pick em up and let em die. Easy and fast. Repeat until done

i am actually not gonna actively grind for these,

There seems to be no real purpose as of now to have them outside of "HAIL THE EMPEROR!"

And the components needed to build your own is pretty high up in the rep tiers (both the necraloid and entrati) so its gonna be a while , by which time i expect the drops to be normalized/ more convenient.

I also expect a mandatory need for a mech later in the game going by past observations.

It's only 2 days since the update came out and you're saying the grind is unreal even though you almost have it done? Something ain't adding up here.

I'm grinding it non-stop because I currently have a lot of time for it. Imagine a player that does not spend 12 hours on Warframe in one session

So under a 24 hour grind while you are doing other stuff on a new open world? It still doesn't seem bad. Especially considering once this is grinded out, the average player will say "okay, now what?"

Isolation vaults there's always a spawn and I found out if you start the vault from the drift you can do the other 2 vaults. The next vault you do will have an extra mech to fight so do all 3 vaults and you'll kill 6 mechs in total

Total noob to the new content here. Can you explain? How to find or get into the vaults? Is there a video explaining it?

Once you know all 6 mech spawn points it's faster to posses them and suicide them, than to do a vault run or 3.
I don't even care if they're not viable, they are just fun.

Is there a map or video that shows the spawn locations?

holy crap, not even begun my mech yet, but then my strategy is always get to rank 5 first; then I can buy a ton of stuff at once.

the only thing annoying me is needing Conservation tags for my next rank up. yeah, I'm gonna keep bringing it up, and I'm sure others will too. should've stayed optional. everything else thoguh, i'm fine with. Bounties are good when they don't glitch out, vault runs are quite fun, and no, I actually don't think the Necramech is that hard. the world itself is absolutely stunning and I love that two big-a$$ god-worms keep blowing each other up every hour or so. Entrati are also interesting and I like the cutscene you get each time you rank up (people who have ranked up will know).

overall, best Open world yet, would be perfect for me if there weren't so many glitches with bounties and conservation wasn't mandatory.

This grind is brutal for players who are starting out. It is only going so well because experienced players already have lots of resources making it bearable. Some low MR players in my clan cant even finish ISO vaults due to the difficulty. Although DE wants to spread out the time played in Deimos, when compared to the other open worlds the mechanics are way worse. They need to fine tune drop rates and reward tables for a more consistent experience.
