Necramech stayed invincible after losing one arm

I still have not started the Heart of Deimos quest since I don't like being a DE beta tester. However my son did not wait & finished the quest. He complained about bugs while he was trying to do various bounties in the Cambion Drift. The one bug I saw while watching him play the 29.0.3 build was when he went into a vault and fought with a necramech. After he destroyed one arm, the necramech would became invulnerable and stayed that way. He tried various things but eventually gave up after a couple of minutes and failed the bounty after leaving the vault. He already fought with a necramech before and did not run into this problem.

Their invulnerability makes no sense, it seems like the best course of action is to shoot their arms/back with shields so you don't instantly die to their damage reflection that sometimes goes off. That way you can remove their invuln which apparently goes away with attacking it, and not their shroud duration.

Also Octavia can currently bypass this mechanic, but I have a feeling DE will fix this interaction before they make Necramechs more acceptable to fight

It seems to work like the iron skin, you gotta shoot it to disable it, not sure if there's a reliable way to do so without killing yourself tho...

Try using a radiation, heavy attack stropha. It usually takes out the mech in 1 to 2 shots if you aim for the body of the mech. It goes down really fast so you wont have to deal with it turning invincible. But if it does manage to turn invincible i usually shoot it with my amp, so that if any damage is reflected it goes to my operator instead of my warframe.
