(XBOX)ONI Prowess Posted August 27, 2020 Share Posted August 27, 2020 probably the biggest zerg through content to get something in the past couple years. in in so doing exposing any and every possible flaw, problem, bug, glitch, etc. that could possibly be a problem. though honestly some issues are pretty blatant and should have been seen coming in this the 3rd iteration of the same system. -secondary systems like conservation being a required part of the grind. -Xaku being the the first open world warframe (garuda and gara) requiring significant investment outside of their own planet (gyro mag systems requiring both old mate with Solaris AND being able to do profit taker, the same things that already gate several other warframes) -a random hard to get super rare and buggy resource that gates progress (wisps, toroid, various heist systems) etc. 4th times the charm i guess. This bolded part I just don't agree with at all. First of all, Gauss is already considered sort of an open world frame, and he needs resources from both. But so? People complain about content islands, DE spreads the grind out, and people complain "I can't get it all in this gameplay loop" (aka content island). I honestly don't get how you see that as a problem. DE should never be focusing all the grind for a new frame and everything required to build it in one spot. That is a content island. That is bad. Spreading out grind = good. Complain about things worth complaining about. Also people need to stop being intimidated by The Profit Taker in general. It's not that tough a fight. It's a goal to get progress to - you can burn yoursel out and do it in a couple of days or in a month. Either way it's a goal to have, not do it a couple of hours like most of the things they release in recent times? I'm gonna tell you something, if you can't handle the grind this is not the game for you. If you want to skip the grind, farm plat like smart people do. However there are lots of things in deimos I don't agree with, and my biggest grudge is actually the bounties themselves. I think i was not clear enough... You buy a nice frame , you have a potato installed, you still have to put few formas and leveling it(doing the same boring mission on SO probably) to just discover it's pure crap... Currently that's the whole and only purpose of the game. good, this how you increase your MR in this game.. and i still don't understand why a MR29 or 30 should get just 250 or 0 standing bonus standing compared to the increase given to new players.
