Tie rescue mission with animal trafficking to make an alternative to conservation missions.

Currently, there are alternative ways to get resources like ores, gems fish parts. 

But there is no alternative to conservation missions.

There are rescue missions in the game though, for a long time. 

All that is needed is to tie both things together. 

Make an additional version of a rescue mission on open worlds, where you track the animal traffickers and find the captured animals. 

To maintain the value of conservation missions, those animals would never make perfect captures, or even good ones, as they have been mistreated by the traffickers. But at least you get them. 

This would also tackle the issue of people who do not like conservation missions, complaining that conservation rewards are a requirement for syndicate leveling, by giving an alternative source of conservation rewards in a different flavor of rescue mission.

Only problem with that is how many animals there are.
And then you get people complaining about doing X amount of rescue missions without getting A or B animals. Or, they give too many animals and make the original process obsolete.
You can just fly around deimos and wild animals will spawn in packs of 2/3. Keep the tranq rifle out and zoomed to hear the scanner noise.
 I've gotten over 20 son tokens this way.


Conservation is only mandatory in Deimos and even then, you barely have to do any conservation.
You only need 15 son tokens for rank 3 and 4 (TBA for rank 5).
If your concern is the grandmother token tunrins, its easier to just wait for the mother/father/omak turnins and just get them passively.
Currently, you need 60 grandmother tokens total for the 3 seriglass shards for the weapons. Not the best, but not the worst unless you're trying to burn through all the content as fast as possible.

There's already no value to perfect captures that I can see.  You get a tag regardless of what you do so long as you don't kill them.  There's no standing gain from literally anything but turning in tokens like there is with other open worlds, so there's no point in caring how something gets done.  They do things like this and make the grind stupid and then wonder why players will use any cheese or exploit they can get their hands on.
