Cristice Posted August 27, 2020 Share Posted August 27, 2020 I like bounties in the open world so I'll keep my feedback on some of the more problematic bounty stages (besides also adding that scintillant is uncool to farm and i've been farming it for 2 hours and got only one, before reading it's a living thing that flies around in the vault that u can catch, it's still pretty uncool) Back in fortuna the excavation bounty required two excavations, it was changed into one excavator in a later update but now on deimos they made it 2, despite the feedback about this which they've taken and acted on it previously, and it was better to just protect one excavator at a time, but here it's one after another and you're spending almost 5 minutes here, one excavator or even 2 at the same time is better than this Lots of the bounties that require you to kill enemies are a slog with spawns being unreliable, you spend too much time in one place waiting for enemies to spawn, such as: feeding kills into the cauldron, infested will stand right on the outskirts of it's range and won't approach it sometime, doing range attacks a lot of the time or not spawn at all, increase spawn rate and range on the cauldron can fix this, increase kill count to compensate if this stage becomes too fast to clear Helping the corpus collect data, enemies don't spawn reliably or fast enough, wouldn't be an issue if the drop rates for the data would've been higher, but right now it's a game of chance x2, getting lucky and get many enemies around you and getting lucky to get those data to drop Fighting toxicity levels in the 2nd part of the Vault opening bounty is too long, there isn't a problem with spawns here, if a player can survive a minute in the second stage then they're ready to go to the 3rd stage, I see the 2nd stage as a gear check and it doesn't need 2 minutes Holding off base against the infested can take a lot of time too, I don't like this bounty at all in the first place, especially now since there is no real "base" to defend, just a random spot of ground so it doesn't fit as well as it did with grineer or corpus, which i've liked way better, it'd be best if the timer went down faster the more attackers you kill, at least on the heavy units Besides this most other bounties go over more smoothly and are consistent, I just don't want the bounties to take extra unnecessary time from the player (2nd stage in the toxic cave, excavators) and for them to not be a game of luck weather or not you get enemies to spawn on you (cauldron, helping the corpus man), some of these problems can be attributed to bugs too, enemies should spawn when you're doing an activity that requires them, as it happens with grineer or corpus being brought by ship or teleported from above, though fortuna's drone hijack can slow to a crawl too when enemies decide to not show up and it's a game of chance weather you finish that bounty stage in 1 minute or 5 minutes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
