Can't Gild my Sly Vulpaphyla

I went to gild my Vulpaphyla after reaching Rank 30 with it but when i tried the game says I have to Reach rank 30 with it despite already doing so. this needs to be fixed.

I reported this in the bug mega thread yesterday but honestly no clue if anyone saw it. I was hoping todays hotfix would address this, but apparently not. BTW it's not just the sly, literally any of the new pets can't be gilded. Considering they couldn't be built first, and now can't be gilded, I can't help but feel DE didn't really test any of them before release.

Of course they didn't test their update, if they did then there would be close to no bugs. They usually just hype these updates up then rush them out raw.

Yeah i cant Gild my Vulpaphyla either. Infact im not sure if anyone can right now since chat either isnt responding to my inquiries, or says idk.

Sorry for the issues, Tenno. It seems that this occurs if you have BOTH a Predasite that cannot be gilded, and a Vulpaphyla that can. We will try to fix this as soon as possible, but for now you should be able to work around this by ranking up your Predasite to 30.

I have the Panzer Vulpaphyla and i have seen its level be reset to 0 three times now, i had also put a Orokin reactor on the Panzer since it was allowed (usually you cant until guilded) and now it's gone, Rip 20pl. The highest rank i remember seeing it get to is 24. I think it has been reset every time i have ranked up with Mother as i'm currently rank 3 with Entrati.
In my Equipment - companions The Panzer has gotten.
Used 0.9%   XP 0   Kills 214   Kill Assists 1,685

I cant even get it to 30 to even try to guild it, 0 xp  even tho its gotten killz + assists.

Thank you so much DE. Though its weird that you said that, I'm able to Gild the Predasite but not the Vulpaphyla, either way. What you say is still true. Thanks again for this.

This same thing has been happening to me, I leveled it by removing the self-rez precept but I'm scared that if I put that back on now that it's max rank it'll still get reset to zero somehow

I have 2 predasites and 2 vulaphila.

I ranked 1 predasite, could not gild it.

I ranked both predasites, could not gild either predasite.

I ranked 1 vulpaphila, and could gild any of my ranked pets.

So, I would say the issue is you can only gild if you have a max-rank, non-gilded vulpaphila.

I have 2 predasites and 1 vulpa.

I ranked one Vulpa, could not gild it.

I ranked one Predasite, could not gild Vulpa nor Preda.

I ranked up the second Predasite, and then I could gild all of them.

EDIT: Both of my gilded companions lost their names instantly though. -.-
EDIT2: They both regained their name when I returned to my orbiter. False alarm.

Got only 1 panzer vulpa and couldnt gild so i made a new predasite and just bump to this thread.

I think since we did not get a selection screen like with Kit guns, its scanning and seeing an unranked anything from Diemos in inventory.

I've managed to gild a Vizier Predasite, but it didn't give mastery (which is the sole reason to touch this garbage system).

I collected all of the new predasites and vulpaphyras before realizing that they couldn't be gilded. After leveling all of them to 30 though it allowed me to gild any of them, but only after they were all level 30. Once gilded leveling them back to 30 shows them as mastered and they're listed as mastered in my profile. I'm not sure if that actually means that I got the master rank from them or not. Related to that, gilding does not grant MR, but it allows you to gain MR when you subsequently re-level them back to 30. That isn't a bug, that's the way the system has always worked.

Same problem here.
Ranked a vulpaphyla panzer and a predasite visir and couldn`t gild any of them but when ranked the third pet (a predasite pharaon) it allows me gild any pet.

I found my issue. I had picked up 2 and ranked only my panzer. Once the other was leveled to 30 today he gave me the selection screen to pick between the 2. Kinda bugged IMO. Shouldn't need to have all maxed just to pick the one you want to gild.

 

Basically its saying "hey is his pet max?" but it sees the others not maxed and stops there. Just need to move the check to after the selection screen prompt.

I was able to Gild my first companion via Son - a Sly Vulpaphyla - but I can't gild my second. It meets all the criteria (level 30, not previously gilded, etc.).

As an update - I ranked all the new pets I had to 30 (a Medjay Predasite and a Vizier Predasite) and now I can gild them. So, the check to as to whether you can gild seems to be getting stuck on other unranked pets you have.

In short, if you want to get around the gild bug, get any ungilded pets to 30 then you're allowed to gild.

In a similar vein, I am unable to release my maxed / gilded Vulpaphyla / Predasites to Son. I keep getting the same message about how they need to be max rank or gilded to be able to be given to Son, it seems to not register that what I have is already maxed and gilded.
